Aniruddhacharya Viral Video: A few words, a wave of outrage, and a spiritual figure caught in the storm. Katha Vachak Aniruddhacharya's remarks about women, clipped and shared in a viral video, ignited protests, online backlash, and legal demands.

As criticism grew louder, he stepped forward with an apology, claiming the video was AI-edited and taken out of context. What exactly did he say? And what triggered such fierce reactions? The viral video holds the answers.

Viral Video Sparks Outrage Over Aniruddhacharya's Sexist Remarks

Katha Vachak Aniruddhacharya sparked controversy after a clip showed him making remarks about women. Critics bombarded social media with condemnation and calls for accountability. After the uproar grew, he shared a clarification video.

ABP News uploaded the full footage in which he defended his words. As backlash intensified, he posted an apology on his Instagram account. He claimed that someone edited the viral video to create a false impression. He explained that clips only included part of his speech, removing his clarifying context.

He added, "Agar meri adhoori baaton se kisi ko bhi chot pahunchi ho, toh main shama chahta hoon. Chahe woh purush ho ya mahila, dono ko charitrawan hona chahiye. Meri tipanni kuch vyaktiyon par thi, poore samaj par nahi.” He urged viewers to watch the full recording before judging the message. This defiant defence fueled further debate among his followers.

Protests Erupt, Bar Council Women Demand Legal Action

Before the viral video circulated online, women lawyers of the Mathura Bar Council staged a protest march. They submitted a formal complaint to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), calling his remarks anti‑constitutional and sexist. The advocates gathered at the Collectorate and demanded strict legal action against Aniruddhacharya.

According to reports, state president Gunjan Sharma threatened to beat Acharya with her shoe for his words. Pandit Dinesh Falahari, petitioner in the Krishna Janmabhoomi case, also condemned the remarks. He stated that such insensitive comments do not suit someone in a spiritual role. The protest highlighted growing public impatience with hate speech against women.

Backlash Mounts as Blame Falls on Misogynistic Mindset

Backlash mounted quickly as critics blamed a misogynistic mindset behind Aniruddhacharya's controversial remarks. Social media users argued his comments revealed deep‑rooted gender bias needing an urgent public reckoning. Observers pointed out how brief clips can expose hidden prejudices when shared in a viral video.

When questioned about the video's authenticity, he suggested possible AI manipulation in its editing process. He said, "Aajkal AI ka zamaana hai. Koi bhi meri baaton ko AI ke zariye apne hisaab se pesh kar sakta hai, aur duniya usey sach maan legi." His claim sparked fresh debate about digital trust and the impact of technology on public opinion.

The controversy underscores the power of viral video clips in shaping debates today. It also raises urgent questions about context, editing, and accountability in spiritual leaders.
