The 1.25-minute video reveals the young couple standing in a queue at a Bengaluru Metro station. The boy is seen slipping his hand under the girl's jersey while continuing the inappropriate act for a long duration, entirely oblivious to onlookers. Despite being surrounded by commuters, including elderly individuals, the couple showed no signs of restraint. The scene has left many questioning how such illicit behaviour could go unchecked on a public metro platform.
So far, the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has not issued any official statement addressing the matter.
Following the Bengaluru Metro viral video, users took to the comment section to share strong opinions about the young couple’s illicit behaviour. Many comments reflected deep concern over the cultural shift happening in public spaces, especially metros.
One user wrote, “Don't compare My Bengaluru Metro with Chapri Delhi Metro.” Another added, “Maybe he was giving her a scratch.”
A third said, “Those indecent immigrants are from Delhi or northies definitely or else south people won't do such public indecency. BMRCL should start having police like RPF, to avoid crimes and indecency like these..”
A fourth user commented, “If girl and boy don't have shame to do all things in open place then why some people's asking to blurr girl face in video??? lets Parents also get to know what are there girl boy are doing in open place....”
These comments show a wide spectrum of opinions, but a common concern over rising illicit behaviour and public intimacy in metros like Bengaluru Metro.
