What Happened to Raja Raghuvanshi?

Raja Raghuvanshi married Sonam on 11 May in Indore, with both families giving warm blessings. After months of arranged engagement, the couple left for Meghalaya on 20 May for their honeymoon. They planned to see valley views, but after four days, they went missing in misty hills. 

Search teams, police and locals scoured cliffs and gorges, but heavy rain and low visibility hampered efforts. Later, rescuers discovered Raja Raghuvanshi's body in a gorge, throat slit and missing valuables. Sonam surrendered at Nandganj police station and was arrested. Police say investigations continue, and they are questioning suspects arrested. Authorities have not yet disclosed any motive for Raja Raghuvanshi's murder.
