Exact Portion And What You Can Eat Daily
You need to consider carbohydrate budget and timing. You need to fit chapattis and rice in your meal appropriately. As a woman, you can take up to 30-45 gram carbohydrate. As a man, you can take 45-60 carbohydrate. One medium roti contains 15-18 gram crabs. One-half bowl cooked rice contains 20-25 gram carbohydrate and 3/4th bowl of rice contains 30-45 carbohydrate. In each meal, take only one type of carbohydrate. Along with it take vegetables and protein. When it comes to eating fruits, it is suggested not to eat them separately. So, you should take it along with meals. Abstain yourself from juice and shake. After taking meal, you should walk.
How Much Protein Should You Include In Your Meal?
Protein plays a very important role in controlling blood sugar level in your body. The reason is that it gives you the feeling of fullness to your stomach. It also helps in making muscles of your body strong. The stronger muscles you have, the more control your body has over sugar level. One individual should take 1-1.2 gram protein per kilo body weight. If your weight is 60 kg, you should take 60-72 gram protein every day. You can divide it into three meals equally. One egg contains 6 gram protein; 100 gram paneer contains 18-20 gram protein; 100 gram chicken contains 25-27 gram protein; 100 gram fish contains 20-22 gram protein; 1 bowl pulse contains 8-10 gram protein; and 1 bowl Rajma or Chana contains 10-12 gram protein.
