Early Reviews of Sitare Zameen Par: Mixed Reactions, Will It Match The Level Of Taare Zameen Par? Check

The much-awaited movie by Aamir Khan, following Laal Singh Chaddha, is set to be released this Friday. Before its release, celebs have taken over the X with early reactions after the special screening. 

Their impressive tweets are making fans even more excited as the early reviews of Sitaare Zameen Par. However, there are also contradictory reviews. The early box office booking is impressive. It is leaving all wondering if the movie will match the majestic appeal of its prequel, Taare Zameen Par.  

Early Reactions of Sitare Zameen Par

One of the early reactions comes from actor Kuldeep Gadhvi. He awards five stars to the movie saying, "totally standing ovation wothy". He further writes in his x handle, "You'll cry, laugh, and leave feeling happy… I found peace in my heart after watching it". 

Former UN assistant secretary and deputy executive director Lakshmi M Puri says, "This film is not merely a story - it is a clarion call for empathy, inclusion, and a deeper understanding of every child’s unique journey". She further says that the movie perfectly highlights the boundless potential of children with disabilities. It is the central theme of the movie franchise.  

However, there are contradictory reactions too, as one viewer says, "A Forceful comedy drama which actually looks good in some parts". Another viewer, though, appreciates the movie, says it fails to impress in the second half: "The first half is fun, but it dips later".

The Plot Of the Movie

Taare Zameen Par's plot revolves around the central theme of its prequel. Both films are based on children with disabilities succeeding in life. In this movie, Aamir Khan plays the role of a basketball coach in place of the Art teacher in the previous film.  

You will be seeing him taking charge of a team of players with intellectual disabilities. Taare Zameen Par made us all cry with beautiful storytelling, and the acting performance of the little Darsheel Safary, "Sitare Zameen Par", decides to make the audience laugh. However, the message is the same: loud and clear, every child has the potential to shine. 

Advance Box Office Report of the Movie                

The report states that there are already Rs 99.74 lakh in bookings for the movie's opening day. Over 38,770 tickets and over 6,128 shows have been booked for the first day. Experts are estimating that the numbers will rise to Rs. 3.61 crore in gross as the first-day collection.

Amir Khan's decision not to release Sitare Zameen Par on any OTT platform can also work in his favour. People may book to get the big screen experience and make the film another hit.
