Actor and Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan makes a grand return to the big screen with Hari Hara Veera Mallu. The film hit theatres across India and fans cheered loudly outside South Indian cinemas. But soon after release, online reactions became mixed.

The film had been delayed for five years, making it a highly anticipated comeback. However, many viewers felt the Pan-India film did not live up to the hype. While fans were happy to see Kalyan again, several were disappointed with how the film turned out.

Many users shared their thoughts on Twitter. Some criticised the writing, visuals, and acting. One wrote, “Hari Hara Veera Mallu is an underwhelming watch. I had high expectations from the film, but it\’s mid TBH.” 

Another shared, “Pawan Kalyan\’s film lacks execution. The movie could have been better if they acted a bit better. The story also didn\’t cover all the holes.”

The story follows Veer Mallu, a warrior who rises against the Mughal Empire. He fights for justice and becomes a symbol of resistance. Pawan Kalyan plays the lead. Nidhi Agarwal is the female lead, and Bobby Deol plays the villain. The film is directed by AM Jyoti Krishna and Krish Jagarlamudi.

The film is also emotional for fans as it marks the final appearance of veteran actor Kota Srinivasa Rao, who recently passed away.
