VIDEO: Kartik Aaryan Looks For His Mumtaz At Taj During Karan Johar’s Film Shoot, Netizens Say ‘Manjulika…’

Kartik Aaryan is back to making fans smile with his witty social media moves. While shooting Karan Johar’s upcoming romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, Kartik shared a fun video from Agra. He filmed the Taj Mahal with fans surrounding him, but it was his caption that grabbed attention.

Sharing the video he wrote,  “Taj ban gaya .. Mumtaaz dhoondh raha hu.” 

Fans quickly flooded the comments section with jokes and references. One user wrote, “Sambhal ke, pehle ehle Manjulikaa ab kahin Asli Mumtaaz ki aatma pichhe na pad jaaye.”

Another said, “Sara is best fitted for Mumtaz.”

One more commented, “Mumtaz is crying in the corner.”

Kartik Aaryan Starrer Tu Meri Main Tera Shoot Moves From Rajasthan To Agra

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri has been shot in beautiful locations. Before arriving in Agra, the team filmed scenes in Rajasthan. During the Rajasthan schedule, Kartik even met the Chief Minister and shared a sweet behind-the-scenes video call with filmmaker Subhash Ghai.

Actor Jackie Shroff also joined the cast during this leg of the shoot. Kartik posted a video of him and called Jackie the “OG Hero” and paid tribute to his iconic 1983 film Hero by Ghai.

Ananya Panday, who plays the female lead opposite Kartik, welcomed Jackie with a heartfelt Instagram post. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the film is set for release on 13 February 2026—just ahead of Valentine’s Day. The poster shows Kartik and Ananya sharing a kiss behind a passport, teasing a global love story.

Kartik Aaryan’s Upcoming Films Create More Buzz

Kartik Aaryan is also working on another project (a musical romance with director Anurag Basu). Fans were worried about delays due to similarities with Saiyaara, but Basu confirmed everything is on track. He shared, “In my film, the girl doesn’t have dementia or any other condition.” He also denied reworking on the script after Saiyaara’s release.

Kartik is also part of a quirky creature comedy with Dharma Productions. He will be playing a shape-shifting serpent.
