The Roti Debate That Sparked It All

The video starts with a normal mom asking a child whether her brother will take rotis. The daughter innocently passes the question, which is met with a sharp and annoyed no by the brother. This is followed by a loop of back-and-forth messages, which turns out to be a funny sequence because Mom is firm that, in the next message, she will not receive roti. As usual with the younger siblings, the daughter resorts to being a messenger of food, only to be turned off by her annoyed brother.

From Roti to Puri to Pakode – The Food Rollercoaster

And when things start taking a calming pace, the mom turns the tables and requests the daughter to turn around and see whether the brother wants to have puri. The daughter queries again, but in confusion, yet in submission. The brother is more sarcastic this time about it: Bol de mujhe mast pakode khane hai. This is yet another totally funny twist, as the mom more or less casually presents the truth bomb, saying, “Besan khatam ho gaya hai.” Within a few moments, she throws everybody out of gear; she hands money to her daughter, hoping she would get besan. This vortex of eating choices is what is common to every desi household, where diet plans switch quicker than personalities.
