‘Goodbye Acting’ For Aamir Khan? Actor’s Latest Confession Sends Shock Waves Among His Fans

Aamir Khan has shared some big news that left fans emotional. While promoting his upcoming release Sitaare Zameen Par, he said he plans to focus fully on making Mahabharat. He also hinted this could be the last film of his career.

In a chat with Raj Shamani on his podcast, Aamir explained why Mahabharat means so much to him. “It’s layered, it has emotion, it has scale, everything you find in the world, you will find in Mahabharat,” he said. He has wanted to make this film for years and now feels it’s the right time.

Mahabharat Might Be The Final Film By Aamir Khan

When asked if this could be his last movie, Aamir said, “Maybe after doing this, I will feel that I have nothing left to do. I cannot do anything after this, as the material of this film is going to be like that.” 

He added, “I hope that I die with my shoes on, but since you are asking, this is the one thing I can think of. Perhaps after this, I will feel that I don’t need to do anything else.”

This has shocked fans and shows how deeply Aamir cares about this project. He also said he might not act in the film. He shared, “We’ll see who we should cast based on who’s appropriate for which part.” The roles will go to the best fit, not necessarily him.

His Vision For Mahabharat 

Aamir Khan said Mahabharat will be more than one movie. He explained, “I don’t think you can tell the Mahabharat in one film, so it will be multiple films. I am looking at the large scale.”

He also said more than one director might work on the films. He added, “To complete it within a set time, we will need more than one director.” He has not yet decided if he will direct any part, but is sure it will be a big team effort.

Earlier, Aamir told The Hollywood Reporter that Mahabharat is one of his biggest dreams. He said writing the script alone could take years.
