The Hapur viral video was first shared on X by ‘NCMIndia Council For Men Affairs’. The caption described the woman's violent behaviour at Chhijarsi toll plaza, stating, “At Hapur's Chhijarsi toll plaza, a woman entered the toll booth and slapped the toll worker seven times in four seconds. Be it the Uttar Pradesh police or the women here, they have no competition in slapping.”

The toll plaza worker, according to reports, had informed the woman that there was insufficient balance in her vehicle’s FASTag. Instead of resolving the matter, the woman lost her temper, entered the booth and launched an aggressive attack on the worker. The viral CCTV footage shows the woman first grabbing him by the neck before raining down multiple slaps in a matter of seconds.

The entire episode was captured on CCTV and serves as the basis for all the information shared, as no official version from the woman has been made public so far.

Hapur Police Responds to Video of Woman Assaulting Toll Plaza Worker

Reacting to the Hapur viral video, Hapur Police issued a statement confirming that legal action is underway.

They posted, “In the above case, Pilkhuwa Police Station has registered a case under relevant sections and further legal action is being taken.” The assault by the woman has triggered conversations about accountability, regardless of gender, especially in public places like toll plazas.

The Hapur viral video has sparked intense discussions online, with social media users expressing shock and anger over the woman's actions. One user wrote, “Why don’t men retaliate?” Another questioned the double standards, stating, “If this woman is wrong, she must be arrested and punished. A third user pointed out the gender bias in such cases: “She is outraging the modesty of that man but he can't complain due to nonexistent law. Moreover, if she had done that in the USA, she would have been arrested immediately.”
