The statement read: "Accused Birpal alias Neelu Yadav, currently imprisoned in the district jail under the Gangster Act of Kotwali police station Kannauj, was brought to the Medical College Tirwa for a checkup due to sudden ill health. During this time, advocate Rakesh Tiwari, along with his companions, forcibly tried to meet the accused. However, the City Area Officer and Inspector in charge informed them that an accused in judicial custody cannot be met without court permission. Despite this, they continued pressuring to meet him, causing a ruckus and were eventually removed from the hospital premises.”
