The video shows a PAC (Provincial Armed Constabulary) jawan being brutally attacked by miscreants after he confronted them for harassing his girlfriend. The assailants not only injured the jawan but also vandalised his car with sticks in Meerut’s Central Market, a busy and posh area of the city.

The Meerut viral video was shared by Bharat Samachar on X (formerly Twitter) on February 21 and has already gained over 14,000 views. According to reports, PAC jawan Ayush had come to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday along with his brother. During the party, some young men started harassing the girls, which led Ayush to confront them.

As tensions escalated, a violent altercation broke out. The miscreants not only attacked Ayush but also resorted to firing gunshots. They then vandalised his car with sticks and inflicted serious injuries on his head. The Meerut viral video shows a man furiously smashing a car with sticks, while two girls are seen standing nearby. Ayush, visibly injured, somehow managed to drive his car to the police station, where he filed a complaint against the attackers.

Meerut Police Responds to Viral Video, Promises Action Against the Accused

The Meerut Police have taken cognizance of the viral video and issued a statement on X. Their post stated: "In the Central Market area under Thana Nauchandi, some young men had come to celebrate a birthday party, during which a fight broke out. The individuals involved were already known to each other. Based on the victim’s complaint, a case has been registered, and a team has been assigned to arrest the accused. The victim has undergone a medical examination."

The police are currently investigating the matter and have assured strict action against those responsible. Meanwhile, social media users have expressed outrage over the incident, demanding stricter laws to curb eve-teasing and such violent attacks in public places.
