Farmers from various corners of the state marched on the streets of Patna on Tuesday in protest against the agriculture bill. The peasants’ march started off from the Gandhi Maidan towards the Raj Bhavan. The march had just reached the post bungalow intersection when the police stopped the agitators from moving forward. The farmers wanted to go further to the Raj Bhavan, but the police did not allow anyone to proceed.

Farmers were repeatedly demanding the cancellation of the agricultural bill. After a long commotion at the post bungalow intersection, the surrounding areas were jammed.
