A 2,000 page chargesheet against the 10 accused in connection with journalist Vikarm Joshi murder has been filed by the police.
The chargesheet is submitted to the Ghaziabad court and investigation had been completed said, SSP Kalanidhi Naithani.
On July 20, Joshi, 35, a journalist with a local newspaper, was assaulted and then shot in the head by local goons in Mata Colony of Vijay Nagar when he was returning home on his bike with his two daughters. Joshi was rushed to a hospital, but succumbed to his injuries on July 23.
The incident occurred days after Joshi had filed a complaint with Vijay Nagar Police Station stating some men were harassing his niece.
Earlier, police had also placed a reward of Rs 25000 on accused Akash Bihari. Nine other accused in the murder case had been arrested previously. “Nine accused were previously arrested. Accused Aakash Bihari was absconding. Akash Bihari has been arrested. All the accused in the case have been nabbed said SSP Ghaziabad, Kalanidhi Naithani.
