Watch: Republic Day rehearsals at Kartavya Path in Delhi

Dress rehearsals for Republic Day took place at the Kartavya Path in Delhi last Monday. At the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, there were other events, like as a tribal dance.

At 10:30 am, the rehearsals started. A mechanised infantry squad was in charge of the “Nag” missile system in the footage released by the news agency ANI. The video clip also displayed an Indian Army chopper “Rudra” formation. It was made up of two helicopters named “Dhruv” and “Rudra.” A shot of the “Akash” missile system can be seen at the end of the one-minute movie.

This year’s annual parade’s chief guest will be Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Sisi will be the fifth leader from West Asia and the first Egyptian to attend the country’s major event. The Ministry of Defence announced on Sunday that a total of 23 tableaux, including six from ministries and departments and 17 from states and UTs, would roll along the Kartavya Path.
