The complaint made at the Anandpura area in Nawada, Bihar, regarding the headmaster of a government school where there were accusations of inappropriate touching and harassment against a few girl students of Classes 6 to 8, has led to police intervention. This particular issue came into light after it was brought out in Bihar Police’s official social media page, wherein it has asked Nawada police to investigate the matter.

After the complaint was brought to its notice, the Bihar Police page asked the Nawada Police to investigate the matter. This issue then proceeded to enter the investigative phase, where the local police arrested the accused headmaster. Headmaster arrested and put into judicial custody
The Nawada Police have confirmed the arrest of 52-year-old headmaster Mahesh Prasad Yadav. He was put into judicial custody after action was taken according to legal provisions, including the POCSO Act.
