The video shows a contractual worker being punished by holding his ears and doing sit-ups inside the office of electricity department SDO Indu Shekhar. The person giving the punishment in the video is also SDO Indu Shekhar himself.

According to reports, during an inspection in the area, the SDO initially found everything in order. However, he was later informed that someone had alerted consumers before his visit, which is why no issues were detected. This revelation made him furious, leading him to call the contractual worker to his office and punish him with sit-ups.

Once the Raebareli viral video gained traction on social media, the Superintendent Engineer (Rural) took note of the incident and directed the Executive Engineer to investigate the matter.
