Viral Video: A video showing the ruthless slaughter of a street dog and its subsequent disposal down a drain by tying it with a rope has gone popular on social media, exposing a horrifying act of animal cruelty that occurred in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The culprit, known as Pappu, allegedly worked with an auto-rickshaw driver to commit this horrible act, according to sources.

Dragging Dog's Body and Accomplice's Presence Revealed

In the upsetting footage, Pappu is seen carrying the dog's body along the road for about 100 metres with a rope before throwing it into a drain. Also observed following the defendant while carrying a stick is an elderly man.

The West Zone's Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), Chiranjeevi Nath Sinha, announced that an inquiry into the incident is now ongoing and that the proper course of action will be followed.
