Viral Video: Some people not only break rules but refuse to accept their mistake when caught. One such viral video is making waves on social media, showing a woman travelling without a ticket on an Indian Railways train. Instead of complying when asked for her ticket, the woman argued loudly with the official, causing a stir among passengers and sparking outrage online.
The viral video was uploaded on X (formerly Twitter) by user Deepika Bhardwaj. The caption reads, “Woman travelling without ticket, sitting on someone else's berth is asked to show ticket. Her response: Ye gundagardi mat karo idhar.”

In the video, the TTE politely asks the woman to show her ticket or vacate the upper berth she had occupied without authorisation. But instead of cooperating, the woman begins arguing. She is seen saying, “Bahut hogaya tumhara” and “Ye gundagardi mat karo idhar,” implying harassment by the officer, even though she clearly lacks a valid ticket.
What adds to the shock value of this viral video is the woman’s complete disregard for rules and fellow passengers. Despite several travellers around being visibly disturbed, she continues using her phone and ignores the Indian Railways official after shouting. Many online have expressed concern over such behaviour being encouraged due to a lack of accountability.
While the woman in the video shows no remorse, social media users haven’t held back. The viral video has triggered a flurry of reactions criticising the act of travelling without ticket and the audacity.
The video, uploaded on April 9, 2025, has garnered thousands of views and comments. Netizens are calling out the woman travelling without ticket, questioning the leniency often shown in such cases.
One user remarked, “Culture starts at home. No matter where you are from,” pointing out the importance of basic discipline. Another commented on the misuse of gender-based leniency, saying, “She can play her ace card [WOMEN CARD] and all men there will be wrong. Her one statement is enough, and she will be proved right.”
Some reactions were more sarcastic, with a user saying, “First woman and on top of that full drama power — even Avengers can’t do anything here.” Others called for reform, writing, “Male police officers should be allowed to arrest female offenders in India just like in the West. Ideally, it should be on video to prevent reverse allegations on police.”
As of now, Indian Railways has not released any official statement regarding the viral video or the woman who travelled without ticket and created chaos onboard. The time and location of the incident are still unknown.
