Viral Video: Cow takes a stroll inside ICU of a Madhya Pradesh hospital, what follows next has alarmed everyone

Viral Video: A cow can be seen roaming through an intensive care unit (ICU) in a hospital in the Rajgarh region of Madhya Pradesh in a video that has become widely popular on social media. The cow can be seen in the footage grazing freely and consuming medical waste from the hospital's garbage cans.

Security guards and staff members suspended

The hospital management acted against the staff personnel after learning about the occurrence, and the guard and ward in charge were suspended. This was harmful for not just the patients but the cow as well as it was seen eating the medical waste. This irresponsible act was later condemned by many netizens as it could have proved to be a serious security issue.

Despite the security guards being on duty all day, no one was available to send the cow out of the hospital. The video gained instant popularity on the internet and many mentioned the government authorities to take a proper action regarding security in the hospital premises.

Rajgarh's civil surgeon responds to the incident

Speaking on the issue, Civil surgeon, Rajgarh, Dr Rajendra Kataria said, "I have received information that a cow was roaming freely inside an old Covid ward of the hospital. We have suspended the in-charge and the guard responsible for their carelessness and have also issued a notice to the security agency."
