Viral Video: According to authorities, a father and his companions broke into a school in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and attacked a teacher for allegedly beating his child. The incident took place at a private school, and it was caught on CCTV. As shown in the video, the principal was seated next to the teacher when a man and his pals abruptly burst into the room and began beating the teacher.
A Violent Altercation Unfolds Despite Intervention Attempts
The man persisted in assaulting the teacher despite efforts by others to step in and diffuse the situation. The principal also attempted to mediate, but things only got worse before getting better. The individual was then led off the property of the school. The disturbance apparently started when the youngster complained to his father about the teacher’s punishment of making him perform sit-ups. The teacher was then beaten by him when he barged into the school.
Police Investigating School Assault, Await Formal Complaints for Further Action
Security staff at the school immediately notified Hanumanth Vihar police about the event. As part of their inquiry, the police have retrieved the CCTV footage. However, neither the instructor nor the administration of the school have formally complained about the situation as of yet. Abhishek Pandey, assistant commissioner of police, said that the police are looking into the event in great detail. Additionally, he stated that once the relevant parties file formal complaints, more action will be taken.
