This price of a basic food item shocked many people on the internet, despite the fact that items are sold at airports at exorbitant prices.
Chef Don India’s Video
Chef Don India, an Instagram user, posted a video of the same. The chef can be seen preparing a dosa in the video. Subsequently, the camera moves to the computerised menu display in the restaurant. A Benne Khali Dosa costs ₹ 620, while a Masala Dosa with buttermilk costs ₹ 600. The price goes up even more if a customer wants to add lassi or filter coffee to their dosa.”Gold cheaper than dosa at Mumbai Airport,” reads the caption of the video.
Negative Taste Feedback
The video has received 1.8 lakh and 9.3 million views since it was shared. “And still really bad in taste, not to forget dry potato stuffing,” one person wrote. A user added, “Imagine paying 600rs for masala dosa which is still not better than 40-50rs one.”
