Viral Video: A group of tourists on a jungle safari can be seen getting a memorable and learning visit from a tiger in a video released on Twitter by Indian Forest Services (IFS) officer Surender Mehra. People in the open jeep, who were excited about spotting a tiger during their search, were taught a fairly memorable lesson about respecting nature and allowing animals their privacy.
Tiger tries to attack the tourists
A jeep is seen halted in the midst of the forest in Mehra’s video. The person who is recording the video enlarges a certain area. You would be able to see the orange and white fur with black stripes that is typical of a tiger.
A few seconds later, the beast lets out an agitated roar and runs on the tourist-filled car. Someone can be heard hurriedly saying “bhaag” (run). The tiger flees as the driver quickly moves the jeep. There are no confirmation if there was any injury during the incident.
Taking to Twitter, Mehra wrote, “Sometimes, our ‘too much’ eagerness for ‘Tiger sighting’ is nothing but intrusion in their Life.”
Netizens react to the viral video
The terrifying video has made netizens seriously speak on the noisy, bothersome behaviour of tourists that annoys wild animals. Since being posted the video has garnered more than 22 thousand views and nearly a thousand likes. In the comment section, a user wrote, “People should take care of animals privacy, it is their home.” Another user wrote, “This could have been very dangerous.”
