The receptionist was simply doing her job, letting the patients visit the paediatric doctor one by one. But the man demanded a quick entry, was refused by her, leading to verbal arguments then this brutal act.
Receptionist Assaulted During Heated Argument
The viral video shared by ‘Times Now’ on their official Instagram handle shows the brutal assault on the receptionist. One man, namely Gopal Jha, brutally kicked and dragged her by her hair on the floor of the reception. The sudden assault that happened on Monday evening, July 21, shocked everyone. As other patient parties who were present there, rescued her.
The girl is completely shaken by the incident and finds it hard to even stand on her feet. This brutal incident happened at a private hospital in the Kalyan area of Thane, Maharashtra. The 25-year-old receptionist refused entry to the man, a woman, and a baby with him, as they had escaped the queue to enter the doctor’s chamber. This made the person angry, leading to a heated argument and then to this sudden assault.
Incident Triggers Public Outrage Online
Such an unprovoked and brutal assault is catching the eyes of the netizens. They are openly demanding swift justice for the receptionist, just doing her job logically. They say, “He dragged her so bad, kicking her? Police should give him ten times treatment” and also demanding to “Put him in Jail for his lifetime”.
People are shaming the man for fighting with someone weak by saying, “Fight with similar one, not from the weaker one” and “Choti bacchi pe kya mardana dhika raha hai”. They are also noticing how intolerant people have become nowadays by saying, “People have become so intolerant.. every other day, there\’s something like this & violence on a female is shameful”.
The Victim Has Filed The Case at the Police Station
The receptionist filed this case at the Manpada Police station. The police have registered the FIR. Officials said that the accused is on the lookout, and soon, police will find him.
This shocking incident in front of everyone shows the growing level of stress and intolerance in people. Medical staff often become the common target of the patient parties, whether they are at fault or not. This leads to the demand for higher security at such sensitive areas like hospitals.
