Viral Video: A customer at a Mexican eatery in southwest Houston, Texas, shot and killed a guy who robbed others eating there. The incident happened late on Thursday night, according to the Houston Police Department and regional media.
Just before 11:30 o’clock, there was an incident at Ranchito Taqueria. The eatery is situated close to Bellaire Boulevard on S. Gessner. Armed robber entered the eatery while wearing a ski mask and demanded wallets and cash from the patrons. The suspect was shot by one of the patrons as he turned around to depart.
Millions of people have watched the incident’s viral footage on social media. Although the Houston Police Department has not yet prosecuted the suspect or identified him, it has made surveillance images of him public. According to police officials, they want to interview him about his involvement in the shooting. The customer’s car, a pickup truck from the 1970s or 1980s without a bed, was also made available.

After shooting the robber multiple times, including once in the head, the customer returned the stolen money to the customers and fled the scene before the police arrived. No additional customersor employees of the restaurant were hurt. The fact that the armed robber did not possess a genuine gun was also made known.

Thief was carrying a fake gun
According to Houston Police Department officer Wilkens, the thief was carrying a plastic handgun that may have been an aero soft or a miniature BB gun. The customers, the armed customer who kills the robber, the witnesses, and other people can all be seen fleeing the scene immediately following the incident on the security camera footage.
According to a legal expert who spoke with KHOU-11, Texas’ legal system permits the use of dangerous weapons in certain circumstances including robbery by threat or aggravated robbery. The expert cited criminal code provisions 9.31 and 9.32 and claimed that they permit the use of gun in circumstances of this nature.
