Viral Video: An amusing claim from a Pakistan TV debate has taken cricket fans in India and Pakistan by storm. In a viral video, a Pakistani news channel’s panelists debated that India’s victory against Pakistan in the IND vs PAK ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match was not due to superior batting, bowling or fielding. Instead, they alleged that India deployed 22 babas (priests) to perform jaadu-tona (black magic). This bizarre theory has sparked widespread trolling and laughter across social media.
The viral video was uploaded on an X account named “MANISH YADAV.” The caption of the clip read, “The big reason behind India's spectacular victory has come to the fore, Discussion on Pakistani TV, India had sent 22 Pandits for Tantra-Mantra.”

The Pakistan TV debate took an unexpected turn when panelists claimed that each Indian cricketer had the spiritual support of two babas. According to their theory, these 22 babas influenced the match by distracting Pakistan’s players through jaadu-tona, causing them to make mistakes. The discussion implied that these "mystical forces" played a bigger role in India’s victory than the team’s on-field performance.
The outlandish claims led to a flood of hilarious reactions on social media. Users took to the comments section to troll Pakistan for their wild accusations.
One user wrote, “What about the New Zealand-Pakistan match?” Another joked, “Comedy nights with Pakistan!” A third added, “Yes, the chief pandit is Virat Kohli…!” A fourth sarcastically commented, “Pakistan always comes up with something new, hats off to their creativity.” Yet another user quipped, “Inka dimaag kahaan kahaan lagta hai yaar (Where does their mind go)!”
This is not the first time Pakistan’s cricket community has blamed unusual factors for their losses against India. In previous tournaments, they have alleged that Indian pitches were altered to favor their team or that 'spring-loaded' balls were used. However, the 22 babas and jaadu-tona theory has taken things to a whole new level. Some panelists even suggested that India has been using similar 'mystical strategies' for years, referencing past World Cup matches.
While India’s cricket fans continue to enjoy the trolling, Pakistan’s media seems determined to find "otherworldly" reasons for their defeat in the IND vs PAK ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match rather than acknowledging India's dominant performance on the field.
