Bike Rider Questions Police on Helmets
The Ghar ke Kalesh page on their X handle shares an utterly neglectful act by the police. A lady police constable, instead of following traffic rules, finds it casual not to wear helmets. Though the lady police officer who was driving the scooter was wearing a helmet, the other lady constable sitting behind was not. One bike rider notices this and takes out his mobile phone to capture the incident.
The man asks the lady police, “Helmet kaha pe hein ma’am?”. To this, the lady replies, “I’m wearing it, aren’t I?” But then the biker points out that, “peeche wale ne nehi laga rakhi, yeh to galat hein na?”
But the lady police officer does not seem bothered by her careless behaviour. She simply shuts the man, saying, “So what?“. This incident shows the double standards of the police. Instead of following the traffic rules, they feel it is all right when they break the rules.
Agra Police to Act Against Lady Cop Caught Breaking Traffic Rules
Based on this, a written complaint was filed in the Shamshabad police station on 7th August. Police will take action against the lady police officer involved in this traffic rule-breaking case, following the relevant sections. The man has also captured the number plate of the scooter the cops were riding. This will help to identify them easily.
Netizens React to Helmet Rule Breach
Netizens boldly attack the hypocrisy of the police. They are pointing out the helpless condition of traffic rules in our country by saying, “What can be said when the protectors of law start breaking the law?“.
People are making allegations like “Traffic Police Bharat ki Sabse Corrupt aur hypocrite hai“, while reflecting on the bike driver’s claim that if normal people break traffic rules, then they have to pay chalan.
Mocking the hypocrisy of the police, one says, “Police ko power hai checking ka Apni nahi dusre ki“. While others appreciate the man’s bravery, they are also concerned for his well-being for revealing the double standards of the police. They say “Dar nhi lagta kya bhai tere ko” and “Bhai chup ho ja unka to kuch na bigdega tum ride krna bhul javoge“.
This viral video leads everyone to question what normal people will do if police themselves do not obey traffic rules? It is the general mentality of taking traffic rules casually that eventually made us break them.
