Viral Video: At the Hyderabad expo parking area, a large fire started when an electric car caught fire. Other cars that were parked in the parking lot also caught fire. In the incident, three cars were entirely destroyed. Four fire tenders were requested, and the people were swiftly evacuated. Firefighters battled the fire till the last reports came in.

Incident happened at a commercial place

According to a city official, the incident took place in Hyderabad’s important commercial district of Abids. A single electric car caught fire, which swiftly spread to five further vehicles. As of the conclusion of this report, the vehicle’s brand and model remain unknown.

A police official informed that, “Three cars burned down to ashes and three others were partially burned after an electric car in the Numaish parking lot caught fire. Fire tenders are present at the spot.” The video footage of the incident is rapidly going viral as well.

Electric vehicle fires have occurred in the past. In 2022, there was a spike in fires and explosions involving electric scooters. Even while electric vehicle fires are significantly less often than those in two-wheeled vehicles, they cause much more damage and chaos when they happen.
