Viral Video: A heart-wrenching video from the Singrauli district in Madhya Pradesh is going viral, showing a six-year-old boy carrying his ailing father on a wooden pushcart to a government hospital for treatment. Boy carries father on wooden cart

The incident came to light on Saturday after local residents spotted the boy and his mother pushing the cart and captured it on video. The incident took place in the town of Baliari in the Singrauli district, where the family had waited for an ambulance for over an hour before the boy decided to take action. In the video, the boy, dressed in a t-shirt and blue jeans, can be seen trying to control the pushcart as he pushed it for three kilometres, with his mother assisting from the opposite end.

The Singrauli district administration took notice of the situation after the video was shared on social media and ordered an investigation on Saturday evening. Singrauli’s Additional Collector D.P. Burman stated, “It has been learnt that due to the non-availability of an ambulance, the patient had to be taken to the hospital by his wife and innocent son. The Chief Medical Officer and civil surgeon have been directed to find out the reason for the non-availability of ambulances.”

Sadly, this is not an isolated incident in Madhya Pradesh, particularly in rural areas. Similar cases have been reported where people have had to transport patients or deceased loved ones to hospitals or home, and even pregnant women have been seen making the journey without proper medical assistance.
