Viral Video: Erik Solheim, a diplomat from Norway, shared a video citing that it features the highest Shiva temple in the Himalayas. Solheim has been sharing incredible videos and images of the Indian landscapes and terrain.
The song 'Namo Namo' from the movie 'Kedarnath' was playing in the background while the aerial view's footage showed a temple covered in snow. The caption that was placed said, "Incredible India! World’s Highest Located Mahadev Mandir… believed to be 5000 years old! Uttarakhand.." Watch the video here:

People online began to take notice of the video right away. The majority of viewers expressed their amazement at the scene and remarked on how seductive the video was. "It's amazing the temple architecture is excellent it survived avalanches and even earthquake too," wrote one. Another stated, "The trek to the temple is just awesome. Little above is the Chandrashila from where the Himalayan peaks have a 270-degree wide view… incredible India".

Some, nevertheless noted that the diplomat's caption could be misleading. "No way this is 5,000 years old. Not even the staunchest of Indian nationalists would claim that," wrote one. Another stated, "It is not the highest, and the temple structure is certainly not 5000 years old. It is a beautiful temple on its own; and does not need these incorrect adjectives."

Another user pointed that, "Can’t be that old. The present temple was built around the 8th century AD during the times of Adi Shankaracharya. Any prior archaeological evidence would be difficult due to the terrain which is subject to flood and avalanches.”
