CCTV Footage Captures Tragic Accident
The accident on the Virudhunagar-Madurai highway was captured on CCTV, which the Madurai police released. The white SUV can be seen speeding down the left lane and heading left following a two-wheeler that is driving slowly before it collides with the moped and slams into the concrete divider.
The SUV was propelled into the air by the power of the crash, creating a cloud of dust. It repeatedly rolled in the direction of the four-lane highway’s opposite side, landing in the service lane.

The video also shows a man on a parked motorbike that the SUV’s metal debris just missed.Four members of the same family from Villapuram in Madurai were killed in the accident, according to news outlet ANI, which cited senior police official Arvind.
