Viral Video: On Saturday, a group of seven tourists had a frightening experience at North Bengal’s Jaldapara National Park when two rhinoceroses suddenly charged at their safari jeep. Rhinos try to topple the jeep

According to witnesses, the incident occurred after the rhinoceroses had engaged in a scuffle in the bushes beside the road. As the safari jeep arrived and stopped, some of the tourists began taking photos and videos of the fighting animals, drawing the rhinoceroses’ attention towards the jeep. The panicked driver then tried to speed away from the scene but lost control of the vehicle, causing the accident.

The video of the incident has now become viral online. Netizens have been sharing the video rapidly. With any prior incidents of rhinos charging towards tourist vehicles in Jaldapara National Park not happening, it was a shock when a group of tourists were attacked. Following the attack, all injured individuals were taken to the nearby Madarihat health centre, with two of them requiring immediate medical attention at the Alipurduar district hospital due to the severity of their injuries. This incident has raised concern among forest department officials.
