Momo, a pet dog, saves his younger sister from his mother’s reprimand in a video that was posted on Instagram by the “Momo cocker spaniel” page.“Sister, I am always there for you,” reads the caption alongside the video.

In the brief clip, a woman hits her daughter while acting irate before their pet dog Momo leaps in to save her. The dog, who doesn’t realise he’s being tricked, puts his paws around the girl’s body to shield her from the woman’s blows. The dog tries to stop the mother from reprimanding the girl by growling at her and exposing his pointed teeth in defence. The video, which was published on November 28, has gotten 3,476k likes so far.
