Delhi Viral Video: A foreign tourist has shared a video on Instagram in which a city’s auto rickshaw driver was consistently urging him to seek escort services during his visit to the national capital.
The clip that was posted by a handle with the username @daviddxiao is now circulating widely on social media platforms. It has triggered strong reactions with many netizens calling for a strict action against the auto driver, including an immediate suspension of his driver license and jail term.

The foreign tourist has recommended others to make use of app-based cab services such as Ola and Uber instead of autorickshaws after this distasteful experience.

In the now viral video, the auto driver could be seen persistently pushing the foreign tourist to seek the services of young girls in the city. He even offered to make arrangements for a ‘room’ despite being refused many times. The auto driver even quotes prices of young girls in the viral video.
The tourist shared his experiences on the public platform, saying that he felt uneasy and pressured by the auto driver during the ride in the national capital.
Meanwhile, Police Authorities have remarked that they would be examining the matter if a formal complaint is filed. It was reiterated that passenger harassment would not be tolerated at any point and even urged visitors to report any such event or misconduct immediately.

Many social media users called for immediate and strict action against the auto driver offering escort services while tagging Delhi Police in their comments. Some Indian users even apologized to the foreign tourist while others said such bad behaviour by a few spoils tourism and damages trust in Delhi’s public transport.
A social media user commented, “Such people should be thrown out in jail but the hilarious thing is that they would also be a pimp there.”
