Gurugram Viral Video: A government Ayurveda doctor in Gurugram was arrested after he was found guilty of running his SUV over a delivery agent from Swiggy multiple times. This left the rider critically injured.
Caught on CCTV, the incident happened outside a Swiggy store at Hayatpur village that is close to Sector 93 Gurgaon that falls under the Sector 10 Police Station.
The accused was identified as Naveen Yadav, a 41-year-old who is a bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) doctor at a primary health centre in Daulatabad. It has been reported that Naveen was drunk while driving his Mahindra Scorpio car that has now been seized.

The accused hit the motorcycle of Tinku with his SUV fitted with a siren. In the video clip, multiple riders of Swiggy can be seen at a Sector 93 roadside pickup point, waiting for their delivery orders. This was when a black SUV hit a parked bike and fled. The car then makes a return and can be seen accelerating towards the Swiggy riders who were seen running to save themselves.
Tinku, who lives in Chandpura ki Dhani in Haryana’s Rewari, is now admitted to Rewari’s Birendra Hospital. He alleged that the accused threatened to kill him and deliberately drove the SUV over him two to three times, causing severe injuries. The incident occurred around 10:30pm on Sunday. Tinku was initially rushed to a Sector 10 government hospital but doctors referred him to a Rewari hospital. An FIR for causing grievous hurt and attempt to murder has been registered at the Sector 10 Police Station.
The accused has now been nabbed and told that he had resentment against delivery agents who used to park their bikes allegedly in the lane outside his house, obstructing his vehicle’s movement.
