The most recent incident is something weird and going viral in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, of a notorious history-sheeter trying his best to evade the police by decking himself out in a saree, even putting on a veil so that he could pose as a woman. The stunt fared worse than spectacular but was successful in capturing national attention, as the nation is full of reaction to what is being referred to by many as a Ramdev Moment.

As stated in a tweet by News24, the shooting occurred as the police exercised a routine police operation to arrest long-time criminal Riyaz Khan, who had several criminal cases against him. When the police came too close to the alleged location, Khan tried almost everything to prevent being arrested by putting on a disguise similar to a woman's and trying to escape into the streets without drawing attention to himself.

The Arrest and Police Reaction

Although well disguised, the police officers, who had gone through law enforcement training on behavioural signals and surveillance of the community, soon detected the suspicious walk of Khan and figured out the masquerade. He was detained before he managed to leave the building, and in just several hours, a video of his arrest went viral.

In the clip, the man is shown trying to mingle with the women in the neighbourhood, where he is seen wearing bangles and a saree with his face covered with the pallu. When he is revealed, viewers have found this moment to have been humorous and, at the same time, shocking.
