After Operation Sindoor, a viral video from across the border is drawing attention—and not in Pakistan’s favour. Shared by journalist Shiv Aroor, the clip features a Pakistani citizen (identity unclear) openly criticising Pakistan’s defence failure during India's recent counter-terror strikes.

In the video, the man dismisses the footage released by Pakistani authorities, claiming it’s either outdated or irrelevant. He questions how Pakistan couldn't even detect India's air strikes, let alone respond effectively:
“If India had attacked our military bases instead of just terror camps, we would still be clueless,” the man says bluntly.
His frustration resonates with a section of Pakistan's own civil society, which has increasingly started voicing skepticism toward state narratives—especially when they lack proof or credibility.
The man also draws a stark comparison between Pakistan and Israel, stating that Israel has a highly efficient anti-missile and counter-strike system, whereas Pakistan couldn’t even detect or identify Indian targets during Operation Sindoor.
“Israel intercepts rockets mid-air. Here, India came, bombed terror camps, and we didn’t even realise it until the next morning,” he says.
This embarrassing admission adds to the growing list of criticisms regarding Pakistan’s outdated military systems, porous radar tracking, and the alleged nexus between its deep state and terror outfits, which were reportedly targeted in the operation.
The video surfaces just days after India’s Operation Sindoor—a powerful joint operation by the Army, Air Force, and Navy that neutralized nine terror launchpads in Pakistan and PoK. The lack of response or retaliation from Pakistan at the time further fueled questions about its preparedness, not only internationally but now domestically too.
This viral video stands as a blunt mirror for Pakistan’s defence establishment. While official statements continue to deny or downplay the strike’s impact, public voices from within the country are doing what the press and military won't—speaking the uncomfortable truth.
