The video depicts a TTE being confronted by a few men on a train. As he attempts to address the situation, the passengers resort to violence, assaulting him and forcibly trying to remove him from the gate.
The narrative takes a turn as the recording transitions to the aftermath. The TTE, clearly shaken but resolute, is seen filing a formal complaint against his attackers. The video then captures the aggressors, now detained, pleading for release.
Shared by X user (formerly known as Arhant Shelby) and later circulated by the popular page Ghar Ka Kalesh, the video has sparked outrage among viewers. Comments condemn the actions of the ticketless passengers, highlighting the lack of respect for authority and the seriousness of the situation. One user emphasizes the irony: "Ticket bhi nahi...upar se ulta TTE ko hi maar raha hai (They don't even have tickets and are misbehaving with the TTE instead)". Another simply states, "Bad behaviour." The incident has also garnered remarks acknowledging the essential role TTEs play in maintaining a fair system. A commenter points out, "TTs are not always wrong."
