On July 1 at around 10 am, the lady, a 26-year-old doctor, attacked her 30-year-old boyfriend at her clinic in the Saran district. When the police got at the site, they discovered that she had a blood-stained knife in her hands after they were notified of the attack. After being sent to a nearby hospital immediately, the injured man was eventually sent to Srishti Hospital in Patna for more specialised care.

Relationship Turned Tragic

During police interrogation, the woman revealed that she had been in a relationship with the victim for the past two years. She accused him of sexually exploiting her under the false promise of marriage. The couple had planned to register their marriage at a court in Chhapra on the day of the incident. However, the man failed to show up, leading to a heated argument.

Attack at the Clinic

Feeling betrayed, the woman called the man to her clinic. There, she injected him with a medicine before attacking him with a knife, leaving him severely injured and bleeding profusely. According to media reports, the police stated, "During questioning, the woman revealed that both of them had been in a relationship for the last two years. On july 1, both of them were going to marry each other in a court in Chhapra, but the man refused at the last moment, leading to such an incident."
