Viral Video: Strange! After 'Saas-Damaad’ Saga, Wife Runs Away With Father in Law, Husband Announces Reward

A viral video from Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district has everyone talking—and scratching their heads. In it, a man announces a 20000Rs reward for his missing wife. But this isn’t your usual missing person case. Over a month ago, the woman eloped with his maternal uncle. 

Just as people were wrapping their heads around that twist, things took an even stranger turn—she’s now allegedly run off with her father-in-law, turning the saga into pure social media frenzy.

The case behind her disappearance- What actually happened?

In a post on X from @news24tvchannel, everyone got to know about the viral video of wife's disappearance case, in Etawah, UP. Jitendra Kumar, a resident from Etawah, is also a driver by profession. So, he returned home from work and found out that his wife has eloped.

The incident came to light on 3rd April, 2025. Shockingly, he got to know that his wife took his two daughters with her, leaving only her son behind. Almost for 1 month and 14 days, he searched for his wife with no help, but failed to find her. Then, he posted the reward to get attention from the police.

Husband became vocal, and police investigation started

At first, the event seemed like a kidnapping. But, the viral video turned into something even more unexpected. The woman eloped, but not with a stranger. According to reports, she ran away with her husband's maternal uncle.

In an interview with India Today, he said, "My wife ran away with Nandram, who is like a paternal uncle to me.”. Though police led by Balram Mishra had already started an investigation and a team did mobile tracking to find the wife. They assure Jitendra that they will get her soon.

The dedicated police team even started doing raids to speed up the searching process. However, in between the investigation, Jitendra further reiterated that she took her jewellery with her as well, which raised eyebrows of the community.

Community reaction to this bizarre incident

While many on social media have compared this viral video to Bollywood movies, it hurts in a very real way for this person. Many residents are disbelieving and shocked about the way the wife shamelessly ran away with his uncle.

As the search continues, authorities urge anyone with information to come forward to assist in resolving the matter.
