The Pakistan viral video shared by Imtiaz Mahmood on X (formerly Twitter) depicts a comical yet bewildering scene where the pilot of PIA flight PK-284, originally en route from Dubai to Peshawar, inadvertently lands the aircraft in Karachi. The post was captioned: “Pakistan: PIA's Pilot took flight for Peshawar to Karachi by 'mistake.' Pilot is retiree from 'Pakistan Army Aviation Corps.' 1500 km error? He at least landed safely. No wonder PIA is banned by Europe.” The viral video quickly garnered attention for its mix of humor and frustration.

Passenger Outrage and Protest

After taking off from Dubai, the flight PK-284 reportedly ran into a mechanical problem, according to Pakistani news reports. Rather than arriving in Peshawar, the plane unexpectedly landed in Karachi. Pilot’s Explanation

Muhammad Ahmed, who is recognised as the pilot in the video, came forward to provide clarification amidst the online uproar. He explained that the plane's collision with a pushback vehicle in Dubai resulted in a technical issue that caused the event.
