It has also been said in media reports that any decision on Pakistan will be taken on the basis of the 27 point action plan stated by the FATF.
In this case, The Dawn newspaper quoted Pakistani diplomats as saying that because of China, Turkey and Malaysia, they could not be blacklisted. To stop this, these three countries will give full force, but will not let this happen. These diplomats also say that these countries will not only do this because they are friendly nations of Pakistan but also because Pakistan has worked for the prevention of terrorism. According to them, Pakistan has acted on 21 of the 27 fixed standards of FATF.
