In a statement posted on X, the Gates Foundation confirmed that Bill Gates have decided not to deliver the keynote address after a thoughtful consideration.

It is widely believed that this decision by Gates was due to his name appearing in the recently released Jeffrey Epstein Files. According to media reports, the Indian government expressed its wish to stand with the survivors of the Jeffrey Epstein files’ survivors.
It was communicated by the foundation that the Gates Foundation would be represented by Ankur Vora, the President of its India and Africa offices. The X statement further reads that the Gates Foundation stays commitment to promoting a series of initiatives directed towards health and development in the country.
The Chief Executive of the Gates Foundation has remarked that he feels “sullied” by its association with Epstein. Mark Suzman remarked that the communications between Jeffrey Epstein and the Gates Foundation’s staff where talks were made over an abortive plan for fundraising were highly depressing and unsettling. Suzman added that Bill Gates has publicly acknowledged that he regrets having any form of engagement with Epstein.
It was alleged that Bill Gates contracted a sexually transmitted disease and hide it from Melinda French Gates, his then wife, after having intercourse with Russian girls.
