Donald Trump: United States President Donald Trump has addressed long-simmering rumours about his past ties to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. Trump said he has nothing to hide as far as Jeffrey Epstein is concerned.
DON'T MISS
The statement comes amid fresh scrutiny over newly unsealed court documents from Epstein’s 2015 defamation case against Ghislaine Maxwell. These files, released last week by a New York federal court, mention Trump multiple times, reigniting debates about his relationship with the convicted sex trafficker.
Ties Of Donald Trump With Jeffrey Epstein
United States President Donald Trump has known Jeffrey Epstein since the 1980s. Trump remarked Jeffrey was a fixture in Palm Beach and Manhattan parties. The US President added that he banned Jeffrey banned him from Mar-a-Lago years ago after hearing whispers about his involvement with the sexual abuse of teenage girls.
Flight logs from Epstein’s private jet, the infamous “Lolita Express,” confirm Trump flew on it at least once in 1997, alongside his then-wife Marla Maples and son Eric. However, no records place him on trips to Epstein’s private island, Little St. James, where much of the alleged abuse occurred.
What Happens Next?
As more documents trickle out potentially thousands more no criminal charges target Trump. The Southern District of New York, which prosecuted Epstein, closed related probes without implicating him.
The timing of the release of Epstein Files couldn’t be worse for Trump. With midterms looming and his approval ratings hovering at 48 percent (per Gallup’s latest poll), this could rally his base against “deep state” narratives or alienate moderates.
