India lends a helping hand to Earthquake hit Turkey, rushes relief and rescue teams

Prime Minister Modi has instructed to rush and offer all possible assistance to earth quake hit Turkey in her hour of need. In a high level meeting called by PK Mishra in South Block to discuss Turkey Earthquake, it was decided to dispatch search and rescue teams of National Disaster Response Force, Medical Teams and relief materials immediately to earthquake hit Turkey immediately.

Government of India dispatch aid and relief material to earth quake hit Turkey

Proactive approach has been taken by Government of India to help Earthquake Hit Turkey as two teams of NDRF comprising 100 personnel with specially trained dog squads and necessary equipment, which is being readied to be flown to the earthquake, hit area for search and rescue operations.

It has been a quick response from the Indian Government to help Turkey , as it battles the ravages of Earthquake and quick mobilization is of doctors and paramedics with essential material has been done by Government of India.

Relief Material Coordination for Turkey

The Indian Embassy in Ankara and the Consulate General Office in Ankara are playing a crucial role in the close interaction with the Turkish Government.

In order to assist Turkey, India has enlisted the aid of various stakeholders and Ministries. The Cabinet Secretary, as well as representatives from the home affairs, defence, civil aviation, health, and family welfare ministries, attended a high-level meeting that was organised specifically to assist Turkey.
