During this, suddenly some rebels attacked him. The attack was fought from both sides. Three soldiers of Pakistani military were killed. While there, he killed two rebels who attacked. Some time ago this entire area was under the control of the terrorists.

Pakistani military has not given any further information. He told that the terrorists were behind this attack. He has termed this attack as a ‘terrorist attack’. However, the Pakistani military rarely conducts such investigations. Two days ago, the government said that the Pakistani Taliban fighter who detonated a car bomb in Islamabad last Friday was from Kurram. It was not clear why the attack took place in Kurram, where the Pakistani Taliban have a presence.

The insurgents, also known as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan or TTP, are a separate group, but affiliated with the Taliban of Afghanistan. Who captured power in neighboring Afghanistan last year. When American and NATO troops were in the final stages of their withdrawal after 20 years of war.

Home Minister’s statement, 7 to 10 thousand fighters are on the border


Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorist group has 7,000 to 10,000 fighters in the Pakistan-Afghanistan border region. Sanaullah also said that there are about 25 thousand members of their families along with the rebels. He made this remark while talking to Dawn News TV at a time when TTP is carrying out attacks across the country. This includes the recent attack in the capital Islamabad after 2014.

The TTP has increased attacks on security forces since November when it ended a month-long ceasefire with the Pakistan government. Sanaullah pointed out that some local people were also involved in crimes like extortion and blackmail, and alleged that the provincial government had failed to stop them, Dawn newspaper reported.

Army will end terrorism


Describing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led government of former Prime Minister Imran Khan as responsible, the Home Minister said, the biggest reason for this is the failure of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and the Anti-Terrorism Department, it is their job to stop it. He said that Pakistan has its own army to protect the borders. Sanaullah said that if the provincial government cannot handle the situation, it can request the federal government.

He said, the army will eliminate such elements of terrorism. The Home Minister also said that the TTP has been strengthened by the success of the Afghan Taliban. The TTP is believed to be close to al-Qaeda and is responsible for several attacks in Pakistan, including an attack on an army headquarters in 2009, attacks on military bases and the 2008 Marriott Hotel blast in Islamabad. In 2014, the Pakistani Taliban attacked the Army Public School in Peshawar, killing at least 150 people, including 131 students.
