Pakistan’s Economy in Doldrums! Maulana Fazlur Rehman Compares With India, Says ‘We Have Become Beggars and…’

Leaders in Pakistan are looking for answers while also challenging responsibility in the face of economic catastrophe. Pakistani businesspeople and Maulana Fazlur Rehman talk about the country's predicament and possible partnerships with India to resolve the issue.

Pakistan Economy: Concerned about Pakistan‘s dire economic situation and mounting debt, the leaders’ tone has also begun to shift. The leaders there are enquiring as to who is in charge of this circumstance. Maulana Fazlur Rehman, president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) and a prominent figure in Pakistan, stated, “We are begging to avoid bankruptcy, as India is on the way to becoming a superpower.”

Maulana said, “the invisible forces taking decisions from behind the scenes are responsible for the plight of the country, who have turned the elected representatives of the people into puppets. These forces control us from behind the walls. The members of Parliament have abandoned principles and are busy selling democracy. We are going bankrupt, who is responsible for this?”

Addressing the National Assembly

In actuality, Maulana Fazlur Rehman was speaking to the National Assembly during its first meeting following the general elections. During this period, he mentioned all of these things. “How long will we continue to compromise?” Rehman questioned. How long will we keep looking to outside forces for assistance in order to win election as Members of Parliament?”

He denounced the manipulation of the elections in 2024 and 2018. He asked, “How can our conscience be clear while sitting in this House, because both the losers and the winners are not satisfied.” Maulana stated that “We have made our country a victim of stagnation, such countries cannot progress.”

Pakistani Industrialists Look to India for Solutions

Certain Pakistani industrialists think that India may significantly contribute to strengthening Pakistan’s faltering economy. Pakistani businessman and stock market veteran Arif Habib stated last week, “I want the two of you to work together. Additionally, foster better ties with an inmate in Adiala jail to help him get better.” He mentioned former Prime Minister Imran Khan while he was incarcerated in Adiala. Someone standing behind Arif Habib nodded in accord when he asked India to unite.
