Pebbles: According to Guinness World Records, Pebbles, a toy fox terrier who was confirmed as the oldest living dog in the world in May, passed away on Monday. She was 22.

According to her owners, Bobby and Julie Gregory, Pebbles passed away quietly from natural causes at her home in Taylors, South Carolina. She was five months away from turning 23.
The Gregorys claim that after finding that Pebbles was older than TobyKeith, a 21-year-old chihuahua from Greenacres, Florida, who was named the world’s oldest living dog in April, they submitted Pebbles’ information to Guinness. Pebbles became the oldest canine alive one month later.

According to Julie Gregory, in a news release published in May, “Bobby was sitting on the couch when friends and relatives started texting and calling about a story they saw about a 21-year-old dog getting the record.” “I applied after seeing TobyKeith’s tale all over the news.”

According to Guinness and the dog’s Instagram account, Pebbles was born on March 28, 2000, in New York, and she weighed 4 pounds at birth. In 2007, she relocated to South Carolina with her family.

Along with her companion Rocky, who passed away in 2016, they had 32 puppies.
