As per a report by CBS cited by NDTV, an A-10 Thunderbolt jet at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base suffered hits that caused it to lose one of its wings. Another report said that eight F-15 jets sustained some damage but were reportedly brought back into service. More than 30 Patriot missiles were reportedly fired in retaliation to Iranian missiles during the reported attack.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have claimed that it targeted the American Al-Azraq base with a heavy missile strike as part of what it called a punitive mission. However, the Jordanian Armed Forces said that they intercepted 20 ballistic missiles launched in its direction, destroying 18 of them while two landed in empty zones.
