US Israel Iran War: The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has rejected claims laid down in a video being circulated related to former United States Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor.

In the video, Macgregor could be seen telling the interviewer that all of United States’ naval bases have been destroyed. The former US Army Colonel remarked that it is unfortunate that the United States now have to fall back on Indian ports and India.
Reply to the claims, the Indian MEA’s FactCheck account stated that the claims put in the video are false and fake.

In another development, India has expressed deep concern at the Middle East conflict. The Asian powerhouse urged all sides to avoid escalation, exercise restraint and prioritize civilian safety.
Joint Strikes Against Iran
On Saturday, the Middle East plunged into complete chaos after joint strikes were carried out by Israel and the United States on Iran, killing the Islamic Republic’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his top commanders.
In response, the Iranian air forces launched a series of ballistic missiles and drones at Israel and American embassies, intelligence centres and military bases in Gulf countries.
On Tuesday night, a torpedo was launched by an American submarine to sink a warship of Iran in the Indian Ocean, which left 87 people dead. The IRIS Dena was on a friendly visit to India. This was the first time since the World War II that a surface vessel was attacked by the United States.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and United States President Donald Trump have claimed that both countries have launched a series of attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran as it posed serious and immediate threats.
More than 1,200 people have been killed in Iran while around 15-20 people have been in Israel. Six members of United States troops have reportedly been killed in the war.
